Course Director – Peter Ryan

Peter Ryan is our Course Director (employed full-time by Cornhill Australia). Peter works with the directors of Cornhill Australia to promote, develop and manage the ministry. He co-ordinates the teaching program, and is its mainstay.

Previously Peter lectured at the Namibia Evangelical Theological College (NETS). He has recently completed his PhD at Moore Theological College.

Visiting teachers

Well-known pastors and preachers volunteer to teach at Cornhill Australia. They provide practical input in their ‘text-to-sermon’ seminars, among other things.

Simon Manchester

Simon was the senior minister at St Thomas’ Anglican Church, North Sydney (1989-2019). In his retirement, he is acting part-time as the senior minister at All Saints’ Church Woollarah.

He is a frequent convention speaker in Australia and overseas. He is a director of Cornhill Sydney Ltd and was a driving force in starting Cornhill in Sydney.

David Peterson

David is a New Testament scholar, part-time lecturer at Moore Theological College and formerly the principal of Oak Hill Theological College, in London. He is the chairperson of Cornhill Sydney Ltd, and a regular teacher at Cornhill Sydney.

David Cook

David served as Principal of Sydney Missionary and Bible College for 26 years.  He is also a former Moderator General of the Presbyterian Church of Australia and Chairman of Katoomba Christian Convention.  He has a long history of training preachers both here in Australia and overseas, and continues to speak at conventions throughout the world.

Luke Tattersall

Luke is currently the minister at Campbell Street Presbyterian Church, Balmain. He has been working with the Presbyterian Church for 30 years (Byron Bay, Carlingford & Balmain)

He is an avid surfer, a rugby league supporter and president of Sports Chaplaincy Australia. He has been chairman of Katoomba Men’s Convention.

He is committed to systematic expository teaching; amongst other things he is involved in helping elders to be better preachers in Zimbabwe.
